Don’t forget to clean the backs of your hands, your palms, your knuckles, and in between your fingers for at least 20 seconds. If you don’t have access to soap and water, use alcohol-based sanitizers.
Social distance
If you must be in contact with someone else, keep a minimum of six feet between each other. By keeping this distance, if the person you are speaking with happens to sneeze or cough, you should be far enough that you will not be sprayed by droplets that could contain the virus.
Avoid touching your face
We touch a variety of surfaces every day that could harbor a virus. When you go on to touch your nose, mouth, and eyes, you risk transferring the virus. Avoid touching your face as much as you can, especially in public.
Practice proper respiratory hygiene
Return favor of good health practices to others. When you cough or sneeze, make sure you cover your mouth and nose. Use a tissue, and if you don’t have one nearby, use your inner elbow.
If you have cough, fever, and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention early
Stay home if you do not feel unwell. Do not go to the doctors unless your symptoms impede on your life and you have a cough, fever, and difficulty breathing together. Call ahead to your doctor’s office before going so they can take necessary measures to keep everyone safe if you happen to carry the virus.
Remember to stay healthy, stay safe, stay hydrated, and stay positive during these crazy times.
